Maxine Laskowsky, 81, of Philipsburg died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born Dec. 27, 1935 in Madera, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Eva (Waite) Lindenberg.
She was a member of the St. Barbara Polish National Catholic Church in Houtzdale.
On Nov. 8, 1952 at the church, she married Charles F. Laskowsky Sr. He preceded her in death Dec. 13, 2012.
She is survived by six children, Randy (Pam) Laskowsky, Terry (Sharon) Laskowsky, Robin (Rick) Bush, Ricky (Tammy) Laskowsky, Gary Laskowsky and Charles Laskowsky Jr., and a sister, Alberta Dinant.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Terry Laskowsky Jr., Dustin Bush, Kristina Zendek, Brandon Gardner, Brittany English, Cody Bush, Lindsey Neibauer and Mindy Laskowsky and eight great-grandchildren, Dakota, Jayden, Hunter, Cohen, Jaqueline, Madison, Mason and Kinlee.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lindenberg.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Madera.
Prayers of Transfer will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Barbara Polish National Catholic Church, Houtzdale, with Fr. Andres Simental as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Barbara Polish National Catholic Church Cemetery.
