Donald G. Prisk, 72, of Curwensville died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
He was born Nov. 5, 1944 in Clearfield, a son of the late Lynn H. and Mary Kathryn (Young) Prisk.
Mr. Prisk was a 1964 graduate of Curwensville High School. He then was employed for four years by Western Electric in Arlington, Va., before moving back to Curwensville to operate Prisk Dairy Farm.
In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Zion Baptist Church, Ansonville, as well as the ASCS committee, which aids in the conservation of agriculture.
He is survived by his wife, Carla J. (Blankley) Prisk, to whom he was wed July 30, 1965, and two children, James Prisk and his wife, Joy of Curwensville and Kathryn Sue Hutton and her husband, Denny of Ansonville.
He is survived by three grandchildren, Morgan Prisk of DuBois, Aaron Prisk and his wife, Autumn of Curwensville and Emma Hutton of Ansonville and three great-grandchildren, Lorenzo, Jordin and Greyson.
He is also survived by two sisters, Helen Geisler and her husband, Bill of Elkwood, Va., and Mona Lippert and her husband, David of McConnellsburg; a brother, Kenneth Prisk and his wife, Patty of Curwensville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, George Prisk.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville, with Richard Engle Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Watts Cemetery, Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
