CURWENSVILLE – The Rotary Club of Curwensville welcomed back the 2016 Curwensville High School Rotary Scholarship recipient, Hunter Johnson, at the meeting held Aug. 22.
Johnson is enlisted in the Marine Corp Reserves and recently completed basic training, combat training and MP training. He is attending Clarion University where he will major in accounting.
During his Marine Corp training, Johnson received a medal for Rifle and Pistol shooting at the expert level. Enlisted as an E2, he achieved E3 status upon completion of his training.
