Elmer E. Beatty, 67, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2017 at Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
He was born Nov. 23, 1949, the son of the late Oran and Grace (Muth) Beatty.
On April 23, 2008, he married Connie M. (Fortunato) Beatty. She survives.
He retired from the maintenance department from Owens Brockway after 35 years of service.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing pool and boating. He was a member of the Treasure Lake Sportsmen’s Club and the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17.
He is survived by one brother, Darryl Beatty and his wife, Louise of Luthersburg and one sister, Betty Tabb and her husband, Joe of Mifflintown.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Beatty.
There will be no public viewing.
There will be a celebration of life from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15 at the Lakeview Lodge at Treasure Lake.
Burial will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
