CLEARFIELD – Twelve winners were selected out of more than 200 “Americana” photographs submitted in the 2018 CNB Bank wall calendar contest.
The calendar has become a customer favorite. Beginning in November, CNB associates will be providing them to more than 15,000 customers throughout western Pennsylvania.
For the past two months, residents, from amateur to professional photographers, have been providing their favorite Americana photos to CNB’s online calendar contest at www.CNBBank.bank.
The deadline for submission was Sunday, Aug. 6, and the difficult task of selecting 12 winners ensued.
The photograph awarded Best of Show will be featured on the front cover. This cherished position was awarded to Hannah E. Robison of Indiana, Pa.
Not only will her photo, entitled “summer,” be featured on the cover of more than 15,000 wall calendars, but it will also be featured for the month of June.
The other 11 months of the year will feature photographs submitted by Cathy Bechtold of Bigler, Haley Owens of Clearfield, Rocky Holland of Kane, Joi Cooney of Loretto, Catherine Shank of Madera, Phyllis Shaffer of Penfield, Ed Hughes of Philipsburg, Tom Vicic of Port Allegany, Olivia Stuby of Punxsutawney, Bill Simbeck of Sheffield and Ricky Werneth of St. Marys.
In addition, 24 photographs earned honorable mention and will be displayed on a special page of the calendar.

CNB wishes to thank all the individuals who help to continue to make this calendar so popular among its customers.
CNB Bank initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which the bank serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.
Calendars will be available to pick up at any CNB branch location beginning in November.
