Spikes wrangle walk-off win over Vermont

Wood Myers tied the game with a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth, and Brandon Benson’s walk-off single gave the State College Spikes their second straight 11-inning win over the Vermont Lake Monsters. The 5-4 victory combined with the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo to delight a crowd of 5,066 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Saturday night.
