OSCEOLA MILLS – Four gently-used laptop computers and children’s early-grade materials were recently delivered to the Osceola Mills Public Library.
The materials were delivered to the library as part of the Clearfield Area United Way’s “Laptops for Learning” project.
Shown, from left, are United Way representative Nancy Pinto and library volunteers Cindy Britton and Georgie Danko.
“It is a great partnership to be able to work with these recipient groups,” said Pinto.
The United Way is looking for any group, company, etc., that would like to collect new or gently-used children’s and or teen books to call 814-765-6521 for more information on the Reading Ripples project.
“Kids who love reading live happily ever after, and we believe this project, along with others, has made a wonderful difference to our area,” added Pinto.
