WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – A 31-year-old man is facing DUI and drug-related charges after a crash that occurred Sunday night on Interstate 80 westbound in Washington Township.
According to state police at DuBois, a trooper responded to a report of a single-unit crash at mile-marker 88.8. Upon investigation, a small amount of marijuana was allegedly found on the front, passenger’s side floor.
The man was also determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance at the time of the crash, state police said. Charges are currently pending blood test results and will be filed through the district court.
