Boy Scouts Troop 9 of Clearfield recently attended summer camp at Camp Mountain Run.
During their week at camp, the scouts worked on merit badges and other activities. Leaders were also busy with activities.
Troop 9 scouts earned 103 merit badges, two rank advancements and one Eagle Scout Silver Palm.
Two scouts were tapped out into the Order of the Arrow; two scouts also received CMR Honor Scouts.
The troop won the volleyball challenge and placed second in the clean campsite inspection.
Four scouts and two leaders completed the Polar Bear swim; two leaders completed the mile swim; and one leader received a Class I climbing instructional certification.
This year, Troop 9 had six first-year scouts attend summer camp. The week ended with a Court of Honor held at the dining hall, where scouts received their merit badges, summer camp patch and a troop picture.
There were more than 115 scouts, parents and friends in attendance for the Court of Honor.
