CLEARFIELD – District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week. He identified the fugitive as Rhiannon Adamson, 18, of Brown Street, Reynoldsville.
On April 12, Officer Erik Rupp of the Sandy Township Police Department filed a criminal complaint, charging Adamson with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, M, and public drunkenness, S.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, on March 20, officers were dispatched to a local hotel for a report about a female who was acting unusually.
Upon arrival, officers met with hotel personnel who showed them video of the female. She appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
Officers were able to make contact with the female, who was later identified as Adamson. She allegedly showed various signs of impairment.
Adamson was subsequently arrested for public drunkenness and similar misconduct. Upon a search of her person, officers discovered a glass light bulb converted into a smoking pipe, according to the affidavit.
A preliminary hearing was held May 19, at which Adamson failed to appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
In a separate case, on May 2, Trooper Adam Bowser of the Pennsylvania State Police, DuBois barracks, filed a criminal complaint, charging Adamson with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, M.
A preliminary hearing was held June 9, at which time Adamson failed to appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Adamson is described as a Caucasian female who stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall. She has blonde (strawberry) hair and brown eyes.
