State police at Clearfield
- State police reported an incident of fleeing and eluding/DUI that occurred Saturday on School House Road in Morris Township. State College police requested troopers to make contact with the operator of a vehicle after a prior incident, and it was located on Route 53. State police activated emergency lights, but the operator failed to stop. A pursuit allegedly continued to School House Road, where the vehicle was stopped by two patrol units. State police said the male committed multiple vehicle code violations and was determined to be under the influence. He was subsequently placed under arrest by state police.
- State police reported a DUI incident that occurred Friday on Spruce Street in Bigler Township. A trooper conducted a traffic stop after summary violations and allegedly determined a Madera male was under the influence of a controlled substance. Charges are currently pending blood test results.
- State police responded to a hit-and-run crash that occurred June 28 on Main Street in Coalport Borough. According to the report, a vehicle was traveling north, and for unknown reasons, it struck a light pole and flower pot on the sidewalk. State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Thursday on Moore Street in Union Township. During the incident, a 27-year-old Bellefonte woman allegedly sent an intimate photograph of the victim to the victim’s friend in an attempt to break up a potential relationship. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police reported a drug violation that occurred June 28 on Interstate 99 northbound at mile-marker 60.8 in Worth Township. A trooper conducted a traffic stop while a vehicle was being driven at 97 miles per hour in a 70-miles-per-hour zone. Upon investigation, a 25-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, both of Huntingdon, were allegedly found in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police reported on a drug investigation that was initiated June 20 on N Street in Philipsburg Borough. According to state police, an anonymous tip was received about potential controlled substances being stored at a residence. When a consent search was executed, state police located 46 grams of suspected cocaine and related paraphernalia. Upon further investigation, state police determined a 57-year-old Madera man was allegedly in possession of it.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of simple assault that occurred in Knox Township. During the incident, a known male allegedly subjected a juvenile victim to abuse. It remains under investigation at this time.
- On June 21, state police received a report about a side-by-side that had been abandoned in the woods near Big Run-Prescottville Road in Henderson Township. It is yellow in color and an American Sport Works side-by-side with a blue camouflage seat cover. It also has a “Slow Moving Vehicle” insignia on the back of the seat and a “Wood is Good” sticker on its bed. - State police received a report about an all-terrain vehicle theft that occurred Saturday or Sunday on Country Lane in Bell Township. According to state police, it was a 2003 Suzuki ATV that has mechanical issues and will shut off. Its original body was replaced with plain white plastic, its metal parts are blue in color and its back wheelie bar is welded with one side broken. The ATV is valued at $1,800. - State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred June 4 on Main Street in Glen Campbell. During the incident, a known 40-year-old man allegedly damaged the victim’s vehicle. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred Friday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in St. Marys. During the incident, a 33-year-old Kane woman allegedly removed $187.03 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it. Charges will be filed through the district court.
Clearfield Borough
- Police handled several parking violations over the weekend.
- Police are investigating an alleged theft that occurred at a local business. Police are awaiting video surveillance at this time.
- Police responded to a noise complaint on West Locust Street. Upon arrival, police found a gathering of people outside. They were requested to keep the noise down.
- Police assisted with executing a 302 warrant on Daisy Street. Police said that a male was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police responded to Bigler Avenue after a report about a tire that had come off a vehicle. Police were able to provide traffic control until the vehicle was able to be removed from the roadway.
- Police responded for a report about an activated alarm on North Second Street. Upon arrival, police found that the building was secured.
- Police responded to a report about damage to a vehicle on South Fourth Street. Upon arrival, police found that the driver’s side tires had been slashed with a sharp object.
- Police arrested a female juvenile for allegedly driving under the influence after she was stopped along Gulich Avenue for a traffic violation. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police responded to a disorder along East Market Street. According to police, a male and female were engaged in a verbal argument. Police were able to speak to both and warned them of their actions.
- Police responded to several minor vehicle accidents over the weekend.
- Police received a report about vehicles speeding along Linden Street.
- Police responded to an activated fire alarm on North Second Street. Upon arrival, police found that a company was working on the alarm system, and there wasn’t a fire.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment by communication.
- Police received a report about an automatic fire alarm at a local establishment on Industrial Park Road.
- Police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred at a business on Route 879. According to police, a male and female were engaged in an argument. It was resolved at the scene.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of an elderly female at CNB Bank.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft at Wal-Mart. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a person at Wal-Mart.
- Police received a report about an alleged juvenile assault on the Clearfield-Glen Richey Highway.

- Police received a report about a child who wasn’t secured in a car seat at a local business on Route 879. Police checked the area, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
- Police are investigating several alleged thefts from motor vehicles in the Hillsdale area. Police would like to remind residents to keep their vehicles locked if they are unattended.

- Police received a report about a suspicious person with a firearm in the area of Village Road. However, they were gone upon police arrival.
- Police received a fireworks complaint that occurred in the area of Wrigley Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft at Wal-Mart. Charges are to be filed in the incident.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment in the area of Lawrence Park Village.
Decatur Township
- Police received reports about all-terrain vehicles being driven onto posted property. Police would like to request people to respect other residents’ properties and not to enter posted properties.
- Police received a complaint about a female whose vehicle was reportedly broken down at Sheetz. According to a report, a male later gave her a ride home, as she appeared to be under the influence. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police located a suspicious vehicle behind the Peeble’s Plaza. Police found that everything was OK with the driver.
- Police located a vehicle at the intersection of Sarah Street and Coal Run Road that was occupied by two people. Upon investigation, police allegedly found that there were illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a verbal dispute between neighbors at a Horseshoe Curve residence. Police separated the neighbors and advised them to stay on their own properties.
- Police received a report about damage to a warehouse along Walton Street. It remains under investigation at this time.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a stray dog that had almost attacked a person on Chestnut Avenue. Upon arrival, police found the dog had made its way home. Police made contact with its owner and advised him of the complaint; he was also warned if it occurred again, he could receive a citation.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run accident that occurred on South Main Street. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a verbal dispute on South Avenue. According to police, a male had completed construction work for a female. However, he allegedly made “unwanted passes,” kept harassing her and showing up uninvited. The female wanted the male to retrieve his tools and leave her residence. Police asked him to do so and informed him not to return.
- Police received a report about a male who was riding a mountain bike in the middle of the roadway. Police located the male on Fuller Street and advised him not to continue his actions. He told police he understood, and they cleared the scene.
- Police responded to a possible overdose on South Jared Street. Emergency personnel transported a male to Penn Highlands DuBois for further treatment.
- Police were on patrol and saw the operator of a vehicle make wide turns and cross into the opposing lane several times. Police subsequently conducted a traffic stop on West DuBois Avenue and determined the operator was allegedly under the influence of alcohol. They were placed under arrest for DUI, and the charges are currently pending.
- Police received a report about a female who was refusing to leave a residence in the 200 block of Green Glen Drive. The homeowner told police the female who was in “blue jeans and a bra” stumbled inside and wouldn’t leave. When police made contact with her, she was unable to answer any of their questions and she appeared to be under the influence of either alcohol or a narcotic. Police summoned emergency personnel and had the female taken to Penn Highlands for a medical evaluation. Police said the homeowner didn’t want to press any charges against the female for the incident.
- Police were requested to assist emergency personnel with a male who was in cardiac arrest at a residence in the 100 block of West Washington Avenue. Upon arrival, police were able to determine the male had overdosed on heroin. Emergency personnel were able to revive the male. Police found multiple stamp bags of heroin at the scene; the investigation is ongoing with charges pending at this time.
