State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred on Saturday at a residence on RB Contracting Lane in Pike Township. During the incident, someone allegedly sent several messages to the victims on Instagram requesting naked pictures. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police responded to a report of a DUI/non-reportable crash Saturday on Scotts Road in Gulich Township. According to state police, a 26-year-old Smithmill woman was operating a vehicle when she crashed into the south ditch. While speaking with her at the scene, state police determined she had allegedly been consuming alcoholic beverages. She was placed under arrest for suspected DUI and transported to the Clearfield barracks for a breath test. However, she refused to submit to one, and charges are to be filed through the district court. State police were assisted at the scene by the Ramey Volunteer Fire co., Madera Ambulance and towing services.
State police at DuBois
- On June 20, state police obtained an arrest warrant for James Michaud in an alleged burglary case. While attempting to locate him, state police learned Felicity L. Fye, 18, of Sykesville was a “known associate.” State police interviewed Fye, who stated she hadn’t seen him since the day before. Later on state police returned to Fye’s residence; this time, she stated she didn’t know Michaud’s whereabouts. State police subsequently conducted a consent search of Fye’s residence, and it resulted in Michaud being taken into custody after allegedly trying to hide in the bathroom. Fye has been arraigned with her preliminary hearing being set for June 30.
- State police reported on a drug violation that occurred June 16 on Interstate 80 near mile-marker 106.4 in Union Township. During a traffic stop, a woman was allegedly found to be in possession of approximately 25 grams of marijuana and a marijuana cigarette.
- State police reported on a DUI/drug violation that occurred May 20 in the area of Luthersburg-Rockton and Station roads in Brady Township. During the incident, a man allegedly operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. State police said the man was also found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
- State police reported a wiretap violation that occurred June 3 on the Bennetts Valley Highway in Penfield. The victim told state police that her manager had recorded her on a personal call while at work, which she hadn’t consented to.
- On June 17, state police conducted a sobriety checkpoint in the DuBois station’s patrol area. It resulted in three DUI arrests; three misdemeanor arrests for drug violations; and an underage drinking arrest. State police also issued multiple traffic violations, including 12 citations and 19 warnings.

- State police received a report about an incident of trespass that occurred June 22 at Lykens Market. During the incident, a male allegedly entered the store with knowledge that he wasn’t any longer permitted on the premises.

- Police received a report about a lost license plate.
- Police received a report about a phone scam.
- Police received a report about a loose dog in the area of Lawrence Avenue. Police said that a pit bull dog was located in the area.
- Police received a report about a verbal domestic dispute at Edgewood. Police separated those who were involved in the incident.
- Police received a report about a civil issue on Nelson Road.
- Police assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on the Krebs Highway.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of retail theft at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. It remains pending further investigation.
- Police received a report about an unwanted person at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment that occurred at McDonald’s.
- Police received a report about an alleged physical altercation between neighbors on Dorey Street Extension.
- Police responded to a single-vehicle accident on the Shawville-Croft Highway. No injuries were reported as a result.
- Police responded to a psychological emergency in the area of Scribbers Road. A person was located and taken to the hospital for treatment.
