CLEARFIELD — Like the other Jefferson County League teams, the Clearfield American Legion Post 6 Chiefs will have to cram the bulk of their regular season games into the next two weeks following three more postponements in four days.
The Chiefs (2-2) were rained out at DuBois Thursday, didn’t play Curwensville at home Saturday and then had their road again against Brookville at Rich Kuntz Memorial Field in Punxsutawney called off in the first inning because of heavy rains Sunday evening.
None have been rescheduled, according to manager Sid Lansberry, so the Chiefs must play 11 games through June 30, the final date on the regular season card. The JCL Championship Playoffs are booked for July 5-9.
