CLEARFIELD – No injuries were reported after a truck crashed into a house early Friday morning in Clearfield Borough, according to Police Chief Vincent McGinnis.
McGinnis said that a driver was traveling eastbound on Woodland Road. They reportedly fell asleep and struck a utility pole and then a house on the corner of East Eighth Street and Woodland Road.
“There were no injuries,” McGinnis said,” and no one inside the house was hurt.” He added that charges against the driver are currently pending blood test results.
Clearfield Borough police were assisted at the scene by members of the Clearfield Fire Police and the Clearfield Fire Department.
