State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred May 22-24 on Elbell Road in Punxsutawney. During the incident, someone allegedly forcibly entered the victim’s residence through the front door and removed unknown items. - Police received a report about people who were outside an Elm Avenue residence and knocking on various doors. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate anyone in the area.
- Police issued a citation to a male who was seen throwing garbage onto the sidewalk in the area of West Front and Nichols streets.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle on North Fifth Street.
- Police received a report about a possible altercation on East Market Street. Upon arrival, police found that everything was OK.
- Police received a report about an alleged altercation on Spruce Street. According to police, a male was upset and got into a verbal altercation with his grandmother. Police spoke with both individuals at the scene.
- Police were dispatched to the hospital for a combative patient. While a male was seeking treatment, he allegedly began to yell and push staff members. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
