CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Career & Technology Center sponsored a movie benefit at the Ritz Theater in Clearfield this past Sunday.
More than 100 children and adults came out to watch the original 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie and to support Brody Lanich and his family.
Brody just finished kindergarten at St. Francis School in Clearfield. He was recently diagnosed with Neruoblastoma, a form of cancer.
Donations taken and proceeds from a Chinese auction raised $1,320 for the family.
Students of the CCCTC’s DECA chapter organized the event and would like to thank the following businesses that helped make this event a success: Altoona Curve, CNB Bank, Domino’s Pizza, Fun Central, Gio’s BBQ, Tracy Huber – Scentsy Consultant, Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Ritz Theater and Carly Starkey – Lularoe Consultant.
