Ruth Ann Little, 70, of Morrisdale died Thursday, May 18, 2017 at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1947 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Ira J. and Marguerite (Williams) Shope.
She was a homemaker who took great love in raising her children. She also enjoyed her grandchildren and cherished her great-granddaughter.
Before her family had grown with future generations, she had enjoyed playing bingo and had worked for home healthcare organizations.
She is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Earl Little; five children, Genia Tkacik of Clearfield, Rona Sue Magruder and her husband, Ron of Somerset County, Douglas Little and his wife, Rachel of Reynoldsville, Jason Little and his wife, Deb of State College and Junell Little and her fiancé, Hoss Hubler of Morrisdale; 15 grandchildren, all of whom she cared for faithfully; one great-granddaughter she dearly loved; a brother, Halford Shope and his wife, Katie of Forest; and nieces and nephews, including a close niece, little Clara.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Earl Dennis Little in 1977; a sister, Sandra Humenay; and a brother, Ira ‘Jake’ Shope.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield.
