Martin R. Green, 67, of Clearfield died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at UPMC Altoona.
He was born March 5, 1950 in Clearfield, the son of the late David and Dorothy (Graham) Green. On Nov. 3, 2007, he married Kate (Spencer) Green.
Mr. Green served in the U.S. Marine Corps. During his time in the military, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal, Vietnamese Service Metal and Combat Action Ribbon.
He had worked for Community Action. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Kate Green of Clearfield; a daughter, Ruth Snyder of Florida; a son, Adam Green of Clearfield; and a step-son, Joshua Phillips of Lancaster.
He is survived by seven sisters, Pat Rebo of Philipsburg, Helen Aughenbaugh of Apollo, Mary “Meggie” Demi and Bonnie (Jack) Snyder, both of Clearfield, Crystal Warring of Pennsburg, Sondra Liddick of Hastings and Tuesday Passmore and her significant other, Boyd Winters of West Decatur; a brother, James (Bonnie) Green of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Graham.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
