Brian L. Hopkins, 53, of DuBois died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born Sept. 27, 1963 in Clinton, Iowa, he was the son of Keith and Mary Jane (Peterson) Hopkins.
Mr. Hopkins made is home with Teri Genco. She survives.
He worked as the head chef at Luigi’s Ristorante in DuBois for more than 20 years. He enjoyed going to work and being with his Luigi’s family. He loved to golf and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He is survived by two sons, Brian R. Hopkins of DuBois and Broady M. Hopkins of Fort Carson, Colo.; three siblings, Sandy Hopkins and Paul Hopkins, both of Clinton, Iowa, and Peggy Hopkins of Omaha, Neb.; and one grandson, Hunter Hopkins.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Luigi’s Villa, located at 800 W. Weber Ave., in DuBois.
