State police at Clearfield
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred May 10 on Interstate 80 at mile-marker 137 in Cooper Township. According to state police, a 51-year-old Ohio woman was observed committing traffic violations. She was subsequently arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. Charges will be filed through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred May 11 on Banion Road in Bigler Township. During the incident, someone allegedly threw an object at a window, and it caused damage to it. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime May 5-7 on the Mahaffey-Grampian Highway. During the incident, someone arrived at the scene and allegedly removed a large number of tools and other items belonging to the Hepburnia Coal Co. State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred between May 6 and Friday on Main Street in Kersey. During the incident, someone allegedly stole three rings from the victim’s residence. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of identity theft that occurred April 21 at a Sears store in Orlando, Fla. During the incident, someone allegedly attempted to open an account with the victim’s information.
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred Sunday at the Wal-Mart store in Fox Township. During the incident, a 37-year-old St. Marys man, Nicholas Amacher, allegedly removed a $19 product from its package and concealed it on his person. He was confronted by Wal-Mart staff with the product in his pocket. Amacher has been charged for the incident through the district court.
