Dorothy M. Wagoner, 80, of Mahaffey died Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born Dec. 13, 1936 in Johnstown, a daughter of the late Charles F. and Ida O. (Riddle) Lind.
Mrs. Wagoner was employed by the former Conemaugh and Black Lick Railroad. She had also served on the Greenwood Township Board of Elections for 30 years.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Curwensville, where she served as the church treasurer.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly L. (Wagoner) Spencer and her husband, William A. of Ellwood City and their children, Michaela and Alessandra Spencer, and Karen (Wagoner) Bear and her husband, Philip of Harrisburg and their daughter, Jessica Bear; a brother, Charles E. Lind and his wife, Susan R. of Venice, Fla.; and a sister, Elizabeth Lind of Sarasota, Fla.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Wagoner on July 9, 1993.
Per Mrs. Wagoner’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. A private memorial service for the immediate family will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Grace Lutheran Church, Attn: Roof Fund, 406 Pine St., Curwensville, or to the Curwensville Public Library, 601 Beech St., Curwensville, in Dorothy Wagoner’s memory.
