Samuel J. B. Martell Sr., 45, died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born in Clearfield, he was the son of the late Samuel C. Cutler and Shirley R. Cutler of Allport.
He was a member of the Clearfield Moose Lodge No. 97. His hobbies included joining billiards leagues with close friends and family, fishing and camping.
He had two daughters, Alexandria M. Martell and Mckayla M. Martell and a son, Samuel J. B. Martell Jr.
His sisters were Beverly Howell (Rich), Christina Pike, Diane Foster and Lisa Nightengale. His brothers were Steven L. Martell (Rhennae) and Bryan “Scott” Houdeshell (Vanessa).
Other survivors include his caregiver since 2008, Lottie Lamb, and several nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, many aunts and uncles and his father, Samuel C. Cutler.
Memorial services will be held by the family at a later date.
