Alice V. Pleskonko Stratton, 99, of Windy Hill Village PSL and formerly a resident of Philipsburg, died Monday, April 24, 2017 at Windy Hill Village PSL in Philipsburg.
Born Nov. 23, 1917 in Grassflat, she was the daughter of the late John Philip and Onessa (Potter) Lund. She married John Pleskonko in 1936 in Maryland; he preceded her in death June 12, 1974.
She was of the Christian faith. She had worked as a clerk for the former Cowdricks Pharmacy in Philipsburg.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Lathers; one sister, Ada Huston; and one brother, Millard Lund.
She is survived by three daughters, Joanne A. Supenia and her husband, George of Osceola Mills, Betty Sutton of Charlotte, NC and Karen James and her husband, Benson Nadell of San Francisco, Calif.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Messiah Baptist Cemetery in Lanse. There will be no visitation or viewing.
