State police at Clearfield
- State police reported an incident of harassment that occurred Friday at a Fairview Road residence in Decatur Township. During the incident, a 37-year-old Osceola Mills man allegedly threatened to harm the victim. Charges were filed against him through the district court.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police reported a drug-related incident that occurred Thursday on Halfmoon Street in Philipsburg Borough. According to state police, someone found drug paraphernalia near the Cold Stream Dam Park and turned it in.
- State police reported a protection from abuse order violation that occurred April 9 in Union Township. During the incident, a 28-year-old woman allegedly contacted the victim through a dating Web site. State police said there’s an active PFA, which prohibits her from contacting him.
- State police reported an incident of theft that occurred Wednesday or Thursday on Loch Lomond Road in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole the victim’s refrigerator.
- State police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between Thursday and Sunday on East Pine Street in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly drove through the victim’s yard.
- On Sunday state police conducted a stop after a traffic violation on South Eagle Valley Road in Worth Township. During the stop, it was determined that a 20-year-old male occupant was in possession of alcohol. Charges were filed through the district court.
- State police reported an incident of DUI that occurred Friday on Interstate 99 in Worth Township. According to state police, upon responding to a two-vehicle crash, a 47-year-old Port Matilda woman was found to be under the influence of alcohol. She was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for a blood-alcohol test. Charges of DUI and related offenses are pending, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police reported an alleged incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Wednesday on Bish Road in Young Township.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct in the area of Dairy Lane and Joseph Road.
- Police received three, different reports about traffic violations within the township. Of those, two were valid reports, police said.
- Police received a request for extra patrols.
- Police received a report about juveniles who were allegedly being disorderly at the Salvation Army.
- Police received a report about an alleged drug violation at a local business.
- Police located a suspicious vehicle along Old Penfield Road.
- Police received a report about a person allegedly using a vehicle without authorization in the area of Guinea Hill Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged assault in the area of Valley View Drive.

- Police responded to a domestic dispute at the apartments to the rear of Sid’s Super Submarines & Pizza. A male was taken into custody after allegedly throwing a crock pot of food at a female. Both were found to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.

- Police responded to a domestic dispute on Capitol Hill Road. According to police, a 20-year-old man was taken to jail as a result of the incident.

- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment at the Lawrence Park Village Apartments. It’s still under investigation at this time.
- Police checked the welfare of a male near Old Erie Pike. He was located in another jurisdiction, police said.
Curwensville Borough
- Police are investigating an alleged burglary that occurred April 4 at the Central Hotel. Anyone with information is asked to contact Curwensville Borough police.
- Police are currently investigating an incident that occurred at the Curwensville School.
- Police checked the welfare of children who were left in a vehicle. It was noted police advised Children & Youth Services, which took custody of the children.
- Police received a report about someone allegedly attempting to gain entry to the second floor of the Curwensville Feed Store. According to police, they caused damage to an exhaust fan. Anyone with information is asked to contact Curwensville Borough police.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of trespassing. According to police, two people were caught on a trail camera entering the property and removing property stakes.
- Police received a report about a young juvenile child who was walking in traffic along Susquehanna Avenue. According to police, it was found the child had climbed a safety gate and opened the door to his residence on his own.
- Police reported that a vehicle left Windy Hill Road, which caused it to spin rocks all over a residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact Curwensville Borough police.

Decatur Township
- Police reported an accident that occurred in the area of Irwin Road and Clover Street. No injuries were reported as a result, police said.
- Police reported an accident that occurred on the Drane Highway. No injuries were reported as a result, and the vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
- Police responded to a dispute among family members at a Short Street residence.
- Police responded to a report about a suspicious person on Bucket Line Road. Upon arrival, police observed the male who was collecting cans.
- Police received a report about persons who were staying in a tent in the Frenchtown Trailer Court where they’d previously been evicted from. Upon arrival, police requested they leave the area.
- Police received a report about a male who was allegedly breaking items and highly intoxicated inside the Wines & Spirits store. He was later transported by ambulance from the scene.
- Police responded to a residential burglary alarm at a Mease Road residence. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
- Police responded to a medical emergency at a Pumpkin Hollow address. A male was taken by ambulance from the scene, police said.
- Police responded to an activated alarm at the Family Dollar Store in the Peebles Plaza. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
- Police are currently investigating an alleged sexual assault of a female.

- Police received a report about syringes in a local cemetery in Decatur Township. Police located and properly disposed of the items.

DuBois City
- Police were dispatched to a hold-up alarm at Shankel’s Pharmacy. Upon arrival, police made contact with several employees who stated it was a false trip. Police checked to make sure everything was OK and cleared the scene.
- Police reported a verbal domestic dispute involving two females on McCracken Run Road. Upon arrival, police found it was a mother and daughter who were having an argument and everything was OK.
- Police were dispatched to a minor accident in the area of West Washington Avenue and South Main Street. According to police, a vehicle was backing out from a spot and its operator didn’t observe another vehicle parked along the street, which he struck. Both operators exchanged the necessary information.
- Police received a report from a business owner who took a call from a person claiming to be with a local power company. According to police, the caller stated his account was more than $400 in arrears and if he didn’t pay, his power would be terminated. Police said it wasn’t a legitimate call.
- Police received reports from two North State Street residents whose houses were struck with eggs.
- Police received a report from a DuBois man who stated that since April 17, there had been multiple bank accounts opened in his name. Once opened, police said money was deposited and then immediately transferred to other accounts. He was directed to monitor his credit history with a reputable provider.
- Police received a report from a West Washington Avenue woman who had received a fraudulent call from a person claiming to be from the power company.
- Police received a report from a woman who stated her vehicle was struck while parked at Martin’s Grocery. According to police, a note with information wasn’t left as required by law. Police are working with store management to review surveillance video.
- Police received a report from a West Scribner Avenue man who stated his belongings were stolen while he was incarcerated at the Elk County Jail. According to the victim, items were left in his apartment but were gone upon his release. His roommate alleged that someone must have broken in, but police said there weren’t any signs of forced entry. Criminal charges are currently pending against his roommate and her daughter.
- Police reported a 21-year-old DuBois man was involved in a motorcycle accident on Lakeview Drive. A witness told police he heard the motorcycle accelerate to a high rate of speed. When he looked, he observed the motorcycle, as it started to fishtail. He stated this caused the man to lose control, strike a utility pole and be thrown nearly 60 feet from the motorcycle. The man was taken to Penn Highlands Hospital for an evaluation, and multiple citations were filed against him, police said.
- Police cited an 18-year-old DuBois man for disorderly conduct for his actions at Abba’s Coffee House on West Long Avenue. According to the incident report, police were called to the scene where a man was trying to start a fight and telling people he was armed with a “45.” When he was located, police said there wasn’t a weapon found. Witnesses told police the man didn’t brandish a gun, but the outline of a gun was visible through his backpack. Police said a CO2-powered BB gun was located and seized from the man’s residence.
- Police arrested a 22-year-old Belle Vernon, Pa., woman for suspected DUI after a traffic stop. She was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol to the degree it rendered her incapable of being a safe driver. According to police, she failed roadside field sobriety tests, and she submitted to a blood test. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report from a DuBois woman who stated someone stole her Safelink phone. Upon investigation, police found she willingly gave it to a friend who was now refusing to return it. She was advised it wasn’t a theft but a misuse of the Safelink program. This, police said, made the woman irate, and she disconnected her call. Police said they reported the misuse of the program to Safelink.
- Police responded for a report about a missing autistic juvenile in the City Park. Upon arrival, officers quickly located the juvenile and returned him to his parents.
- Police arrested a 36-year-old man for an outstanding warrant. According to police, a vehicle was stopped and a man was found to be wanted out of Luzerne County. Police confirmed the warrant and placed the man in county jail.
- Police received a report about a DuBois couple found in the 100 block of West Long Avenue. According to police, they were first witnessed inside a parked vehicle and engaged in sexual relations. Before officers approached, they exited partially clothed and allegedly urinated in the parking lot. Police found they were intoxicated and released them to a family member. Both will be cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct for this incident. An hour later, police received a report about the couple fighting outside. However, the male fled the scene prior to police arrival, and the female was told to return to the apartment.
- Police were dispatched for a couple fighting in the 100 block of East Long Avenue. When police arrived, it was learned they were fighting over a cell phone. A male took the female’s phone and was trying to send pictures from her phone to his own. Police asked the male to return the phone, which he did, and the couple separated for the rest of the day.
- Police were dispatched for a guest who was refusing to leave the Best Western. When police arrived, they learned the guest was vacating the premises.
- Police were dispatched to check the welfare of a male standing near the roadway on East DuBois Avenue. Upon arrival, police learned he was homeless and in need of assistance. He was provided with food and a night’s lodging at the DuBois Manor Motel.
