CLEARFIELD – Students in the adult cosmetology program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) have been preparing for their annual “It’s So Much More Than Hair” benefit.
Each year, Debbie Gmerek, CCCTC adult cosmetology instructor, has the students organize the benefit to raise money for someone in need.
This year the students are donating all proceeds to Brody Lanich, a Kindergarten student at St. Francis School that was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma.
The event will feature free wigs for anyone with hair loss, nail art, face paint, many vendors, including food vendors, and a huge Chinese auction with four grand prize giveaways.
The event is open to the public and will be held from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. April 29 at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center, 1620 River Rd., Clearfield.
