State police at DuBois
- State police reported an incident of criminal mischief that occurred April 13 in the 2600 block of Carson Hill Road. During the incident, someone allegedly struck the rear window of the victim’s vehicle with a rock, causing it to break.
- State police reported a DUI/drug incident that occurred Saturday on Rockton Mountain Road in Union Township. According to state police, a known 28-year-old woman was operating a vehicle and committing traffic violations. She was allegedly driving under the influence. State police also conducted a search of the vehicle, which yielded a small amount of a controlled substance and various paraphernalia belonging to the woman and her passenger. Charges are currently pending against the women at this time.
- State police reported an alleged incident of burglary that occurred sometime between April 8 and Sunday on Burning Gas Well Road in Winslow Township. It remains under investigation at this time.
- State police reported a drug incident that occurred April 6 in the 400 block of East Main Street in Reynoldsville Borough. According to state police, a 32-year-old man was stopped for multiple traffic violations. He was allegedly found in possession of a small amount of marijuana, Adderall (both pill and powder form) and multiple items of paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- State police reported that on March 6, two Pennsylvania inspection stickers were stolen from Jeff Tech. It remains under investigation at this time.
- State police reported an incident of theft that occurred April 10 on Baghdad Road off of Seventh Avenue Extension in Snyder Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took items from a locked shed on the victim’s property.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police reported a DUI that occurred March 14 on Route 119 in Henderson Township. According to state police, an investigation was beginning into a crash, and the operator – a 24-year-old DuBois man – was displaying signs of impairment. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. State police said a passenger sustained critical, life-threatening injuries and was treated by DuBois Penn Highlands and UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
State police at Ridgway
- State police reported a DUI that occurred Sunday on Skyline Drive in Fox Township. According to state police, there was a report about a vehicle being in the ditch, and upon arrival, it was found the operator – a 57-year-old Kersey man – was under the influence. He was taken to Penn Highlands Elk for a blood draw. State police are continuing the investigation at this time, and it is pending the results of the blood draw.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct in the area of Ross Drive.
- Police received a report about the alleged theft of a black bear lawn ornament in the area of Village Road. The victim isn’t seeking charges but would like to have the ornament returned.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of trespassing in the area of Pifer Road.
- Police responded to an alarm in the area of Calvary Road.
- Police conducted a warrant service on a fugitive from justice.
- Police recovered drug paraphernalia found in the area of Village Road.
- Police received a report about an alleged assault in the area of Lawrence Park Village. Charges will be filed as a result.
- Police received a report about a reckless driver in the area of the Edgewood Apartments parking lot.
Morris-Cooper Regional
- Police arrested Richard Harsomchuck of Allport for simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment. He was allegedly fighting with family. He was arranged before Magisterial District Judge Jerome Nevling and lodged in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $10,000 straight bail.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred at the Munson Auto Body Shop. Upon arrival, police asked for the noise to be kept down.
- An employee from Mt. View Market Place reported a Frenchville resident issued a check in the amount of $21.19. However, they said it was returned for non-sufficient funds. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
