Sedona (Caldwell) Jones Albright, 102, of Edinboro and formerly of Curwensville, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Edinboro Manor Nursing Home.
Born April 11, 1915 in Grampian, she was the daughter of Winfield Scott and Mary (Whitman) Caldwell.
Mrs. Albright had been employed in the cutting room of the former MacGregor Sportswear and retired after 33 years of service.
She was a member of the Curwensville United Methodist Church.
She was a former member of the Rhoda Rebekah Lodge, had volunteered at the Clearfield Hospital for 17 years and had been a RSVP volunteer at the Clearfield County Historical Society.
She was married to Dale Albright, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Evelyn Harley and Blanche Caldwell; eight brothers, Winfield, James, Boyd, Doyle, Ord, Drexel, Carl and Paul; and a niece, Marie Bloom. She was the last member of her generation.
Surviving are a son, Robert Jones of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Paula Rae and her husband, Dr. William McHenry of Edinboro; and three step-children, Dale Albright of Arizona, Kay Gipson and her husband, Wayne of Texas and Brenda Soares of California.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Lisa Walker and her husband, Chris, Linda Will and her husband, Dr. Brad and Dr. William McHenry II and his wife, Missy; nine great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob and Alexa Walker, Ryan and Ian Will and Meghan, Billy, Katie and Shane McHenry; as well as numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Turner will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Curwensville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert S. Ludrowsky officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
