The Lord called Pastor Lysa Gibbs, 54, of Lanse home in heaven on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.
Born April 12, 1962 in Bellinda, Calif., she was the daughter of the late Myra Kay Dimond of Ramey and Paul Dimond and his wife, Joan Dimond of Philipsburg.
On Sept. 21, 1996, she wed Wayne Gibbs, who survives her at home in Lanse.
Also surviving are her daughters, Deanna Grossi and her companion, Michael Considine of Mill Hall and Christina Wertz of Clarksville, Tenn., her grandchildren, Ashleigha Grossi and Natia Considine, both of Mill Hall, and Dakoda Wertz and Dallas Wertz, both of Clarksville, Tenn.; a sister, Rebecca Dimond of Coalport; and her aunt Peggy and uncle John Maul of Gilbert, Ariz.
Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Dimond.
Mrs. Gibbs was a graduate of Lock Haven University. She was the pastor for Port Matilda United Methodist Church and Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, also of Port Matilda.
There will be only one public memorial service held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gethsemane United Methodist Church, Allport, with the Rev. James Hollister officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
