Robert A. Turner, 84, of Curwensville died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Ridgeview Elder Care in Curwensville after a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 27, 1932 in Clearfield, he was the son of William K. and Nadine (Rowles) Turner.
Mr. Turner was retired from N.A.R.C.O. in Curwensville after 30 years of service. Mr. Turner was an avid hunter.
Surviving are 10 children, Laurino W. Turner and his wife, Debra of Wallaceton, Kathlene Janocha of DuBois, Douglas A. Turner and his wife, JoAnne of Curwensville, Guido J. Turner and his wife, Martha of Bigler, Lance A. Turner and his wife, Beth of Kentucky, Teresa M. Turner of Canandaigua, NY, Christopher Turner of Pennsylvania and Robbie Clemens, Joey Turner and Lisa Turner, all of Kansas. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Joyce (Pistilli) Mila; a son, Robert Lee Turner; four brothers, John, Norman “Buck”, Laurin Duke and Rex Turner; and four sisters, Sylvia Barrett, Helen London, Hazel Hoover and Ethelyn Riddle. He was the last member of his generation.
There will be no public visitation or services.
