DUBOIS – DuBois Central Catholic’s sixth graders will be presenting their annual Re-Enactment of the Stations of the Cross during Holy Week.
According to Principal Dawn Bressler, staging a Passion Play is the final project for the students’ current unit of study on the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. She adds, “This re-enactment has been a DCC tradition for decades.”
Faculty advisors Jodi Stewart and Michael Micknis have announced four performances taking place during Holy Week 2017.
On April 11 at 10 a.m., the students will perform for the residents at Christ the King Manor. At 1 p.m., there will be an afternoon performance in the school’s auditorium for DCC’s elementary students and staff.
On April 12, at 9:30 a.m., middle and high school students and staff will experience the Passion Play. At 7 p.m. that evening, family, friends and the general public are invited to attend the performance in the school auditorium.
There is no charge for any of the performances.
