Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted mental health personnel with a 302 warrant on Reed Street. According to police, a female was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred along Martin Street.
- A female came to the police station, and she had an active warrant. She was able to resolve the warrant.
- Police received a report about a bike that was taken from the yard of a South Fourth Street resident.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident along Bridge Street. Minor damage was reported as a result, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of threats on South Fourth Street. According to police, a male was threatening another male via text messages.
Lawrence Township
- Police are investigating the alleged theft of a television from a local motel.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a male who was walking along Riverview Road. He was reportedly stumbling out into traffic and appeared to be intoxicated. When police arrived at the scene, the male was found to be OK.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation that initially occurred in Clearfield Borough but continued in Lawrence Township.
- Police received a report about a civil issue involving personal property.
- Police were called about information on a possible warrant on a male.
- Police received a report about possible elder abuse. However, the incident was listed as unfounded by police.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a River Road business. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
- Police received a report about an alarm on Industrial Park Road. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about a panic alarm activated at Community Action on West Long Avenue. Upon arrival, a staff member told police it was accidentally set off.
- Police received a report about a male walking on the retaining wall in front of a property on South State Street. The caller stated when she asked him not to, he became very argumentative. She later found a large stone portion of the wall was on the sidewalk and in two pieces. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report after a woman resident heard someone on her porch on Knarr Street. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate anyone on the porch or around the house. Police said that at the time, garbage was being collected along Knarr Street.
Sandy Township
- On Monday a 26-year-old Kansas man was reportedly running in and out of traffic on South Brady Street. Upon police arrival, he was in a yard being restrained by friends. According to police, he was showing signs of being highly intoxicated. Police handled the situation without incident.
- On Monday employees of the Town Market in Treasure Lake reported there was a man who was passed out in his vehicle, which was sitting at the gas pumps. Police were able to wake up the 35-year-old Treasure Lake man who appeared to be under the influence. He was taken into custody and to Penn Highlands for a legal blood draw. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- On Tuesday a 59-year-old DuBois man alleged that his 31-year-old daughter and her husband had forged his name on one of his checks in order to receive $300 from his bank account without his permission. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- On Tuesday police were requested to check the welfare of a 58-year-old Circle Road man after friends hadn’t been able to contact him. When police arrived, he did not answer the door. When they checked through the windows, he was observed lying on the floor. Police gained entry and once inside, they determined the man was OK. He told police that he just didn’t want to talk to his girlfriend, and he was ignoring everyone.
- On Tuesday an Arminta Street man reported that during the night, someone hit and damaged his mailbox with a vehicle.
- On Wednesday a 23-year-old DuBois man reported hitting a deer that ran out while he was traveling on Rockton Road. Moderate damage and no injuries were reported as a result, police said.
- On Wednesday police received a report about a false alarm at Sally Beauty.
- On Thursday police received a report about a woman who was passed out in her vehicle, which was sitting in a stall at the Brady Street Car Wash. Witnesses advised she was observed huffing in her car. Upon arrival, police located the woman who was obviously under the influence and who admitted to sitting in her car huffing. Charges have been filed through the district court.
- On Thursday a 19-year-old Reynoldsville woman lost control of her vehicle on Behringer Highway. This caused her vehicle to travel across the roadway, hit a tree and come to rest down an embankment. No injuries were reported as a result, and the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
