RIDGWAY – The Elk County Council on the Arts is pleased to present the artwork of students from high schools across Elk County.
The Student Art Showcase will provide students a chance to present their work to the art community in a professional gallery setting.
The goal for the exhibit is to encourage young artists and to support artistic development within the community, organizers say.
Participating schools are: Ridgway Area High School, Elk County Catholic High School, St. Marys Area High School and Johnsonburg Area High School.
The exhibit will be open to the public and is set to run from April 7-28 at various locations.
The Student Art Showcase will be a part of the First Friday Art Walk on April 7 from 5 p.m. -9 p.m., which will include extended store hours in downtown historic Ridgway.
For the full list of locations hosting students’ work, stop in the gallery or visit ECCOTA.com.
