CLEARFIELD – Do you have the right tools to manage your diabetes? You can get the right tools for the job when you sign up for the Diabetes Self-Management classes being offered by the Clearfield County Area on Aging Inc. by certified Diabetic Trainers.
The six-session series will be held at the Clearfield Center for Active Living’s Education Room at 116 S. Second St., Clearfield, on the following Tuesdays: May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and June 6 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Your Self Management Toolbox will include the tools to help you with medication, healthy eating, avoiding complications, monitoring, physical activity, using your mind, action planning decision making, understanding emotions related to diabetes, problem solving, how to work with health care professionals and much more to help you manage your diabetes. To get your full benefit from this class, plan to attend all six sessions.
