State police at DuBois
- Police received a report about an incident of burglary/theft that occurred Monday or Tuesday in Winslow Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a four-wheeler and two dirt bikes from the victim’s garage. State police said the four-wheeler was a 2014 Honda TRX450R, which is white in color, and the dirt bikes were a 2007 Yamaha YZ250F, which was blue/black in color, and a 2002 CR80, which was red, white and black in color. State police are continuing their investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact the DuBois barracks at 814-371-4652.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred March 1-2 in Washington Township. During the incident, an unknown gas company removed the victim’s propane tank, which was full of gas, from his property without his permission and notifying him. Police identified the company and determined the incident was a civil matter.
Clearfield Borough
- Police arrested a male for DUI along North Third Street. He was found to be on probation and taken to the Clearfield County Jail on a detainer.
- Police received a report about a child who is allegedly being unattended at their bus stop. Police referred the complaint to the county’s Children & Youth Services.
- An Access card was turned into police after it was located along Nichols Street. It was returned to the county’s Assistance Office in order to notify the owner.
- Police arrested a male after responding to a reported domestic dispute on West Front Street. He was taken to the Clearfield County Jail, as he was found to be on probation.
Lawrence Township
- Police were requested to assist a motorist who was stuck in a ditch along the Rockton Mountain Highway.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle in the area of Lick Run.
- Police served a warrant on a person while at the courthouse.
- Police received a report about a suspicious vehicle at the CNB Bank on Industrial Park Road.
- Police received a report about a possible disorderly conduct/harassment incident involving two juveniles. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a suspicious person at a business on Fullerton Street. However, police were unable to locate anyone in the area.
- Police received a report about a verbal domestic dispute on Capitol Hill Road. It was handled without an arrest.
- Police received a report about an alarm at a business along Daisy Street Extension. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about an alleged assault in the city park. When police arrived to the scene, those involved told police they were friends and just “roughhousing.”
- Police received a report about a vehicle parked too closely to the intersection of Grant and North Main streets. When police responded to the area, they didn’t observe any violations.
- Police received a report about several bricks blocking West Long Avenue. When police responded to the area, it appeared they’d fallen from a building and onto the roadway. Police notified the building’s owner who arrived to clean up the bricks. However, police observed additional bricks were ready to fall from the top of the building, and the roadway was blocked off to prevent anyone from getting hurt.
- Police received a report about a male who was sleeping in the parking lot of Sheetz on East DuBois Avenue. When police arrived at the scene, he was woken up. He stated he was driving and had pulled over and fallen asleep. Police found the male was OK and able to drive to his mother’s house, which was nearby.
