Former Russian lawmaker Denis Voronenkov, a Kremlin critic who fled to Ukraine last year, was shot dead Thursday in Ukraine’s capital, Ukrainian Interior Ministry spokesman Artem Shevchenko said.
A suspect is wounded and in a local hospital, said Andriy Krischenko, head of Kiev police.
