Annie M. Rose, 93, of Clearfield died Saturday, March 11, 2017 surrounded by her family at Ridgeview Elder Care.
She was born June 6, 1923 the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Mabel (Lawhead) Copenhaver.
On Oct. 29, 1938, she married Ralph A. Rose, who died Dec. 21, 1993.
She is survived by her four children, Richard L. Rose and his wife, Arlene of Roanoke, Va., Robert L. Rose and his wife, Kathy of Oldsmar, Fla., Barbara A. DuFour and her husband, Larry of Curwensville and Thomas D. Rose and his wife, Glenda of Chesapeake, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Verna White and Esther Shangraw; four brothers, James, Francis, Jerry and Samuel Copenhaver; and a granddaughter, Patricia Ann DuFour.
Honoring the wishes of Mrs. Rose, there will be no public visitation. A private graveside service will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Clearfield.
