State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sunday on Rush Street in Rush Township. During the incident, two Osceola Mills residents allegedly engaged in a physical altercation. Charges were filed through the district court, state police said.
- State police received a report about the theft of misplaced property Feb. 28 at the Philipsburg-Osceola High School. During the incident, a juvenile allegedly removed an iPhone 6 plus after it was left in the restroom. It was valued at approximately $600.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of fraud that occurred Monday on Route 28 in Pine Creek Township. The victim told state police they received two fraudulent cashier’s checks.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime between Feb. 1 and Feb. 21 on Main Street in Burnside Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly stole jewelry and multiple items from within the residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Punxsutawney at 814-938-0510.
Clearfield Borough
- Lawrence Township police were investigating an accident, and one person was found to have an active arrest warrant. Police made contact with the male who resolved his warrants.
- Police assisted a motorist along Park Place Drive whose vehicle was disabled. A towing service was on scene and provided assistance, police said.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along East Market Street.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a traffic complaint that occurred in the area of Country Club Circle.
- State parole/probation officers were assisted with serving an arrest warrant on a 30-year-old Hastings woman at a local motel. She was allegedly found in possession of illegal substances. Criminal charges are currently pending at this time, police said.
- Police received a report about a single-vehicle accident on Willow Lane and Martin Street.
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle on Route 879 near the truck stop.
- Police received a report about an intoxicated woman on Fire Tower Road. Upon arrival police took her into custody and to county jail on a 48-hour detainer.
- Police received a report about a 911 hang-up call from Charles Road.
- Police received a report about an unwanted male at the Super 8 Motel. Police assisted with removing him from the premises.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female at the Economy Inn on Old Town Road.
- Police received a report about a possible missing person/welfare check. The female was later located, police said.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a person on South Second Street. Upon arrival police located a male who had fallen and couldn’t get back up. Police were assisted at the scene by emergency personnel.
Morris-Cooper Regional
- Police arrested William J. Lamb Sr. for simple assault and harassment. He allegedly assaulted a female victim and is lodged in the Clearfield County Jail.
- A Morrisdale resident was cited for public drunkenness and lodged in the CCJ after police were called for a domestic argument that started in the Mountain View Market Place parking lot. It ended in the 300 block of Rolling Stone Road.
- Police were called to a Morris Township residence for a psychological emergency. Police transported the individual to the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for an evaluation.
- Police responded to a disabled vehicle along Empire Road. Upon arrival police learned the vehicle was used during a burglary, and there were several hundred dollars worth of coins and a gun.
- Police responded to the Mountain View Market Place for a bad check complaint. According to police, a Morrisdale resident issued a check for non-sufficient funds.
- An Allport resident was warned about the several 911 hang-up calls.
DuBois City
- Police received information about a male, Derek Kuntz, who was wanted on a warrant through the department. According to the report, police responded to the area of West Weber Avenue and South Main Street, and Kuntz was located there. He was subsequently taken to the magistrate’s office for arraignment before being transferred to the county jail.
- Police were dispatched for a report about a vehicle that had impacted a pole in the Stoltz Dealership parking lot. Upon arrival police learned a vehicle was operating her vehicle in the lot when it collided with a concrete light pole, which she stated she didn’t see. No injuries were reported as a result, and the vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male who was walking onto people’s porches and looking in mailboxes in the area of East Scribner Avenue and South Clark Street. When police located the male, he was knocking on the door of a residence. He told police he was looking for a friend’s house but was unsure of the exact address. He said he was knocking on random doors and looking at mailboxes for a name. Police advised him he wasn’t permitted to look in mailboxes and needed to find an alternative method of finding his friend’s address.
- Police received a report about a male who had been beating on a door in the 500 block of Maple Avenue and making threats and acting aggressively towards the resident. However, he had left. The caller was advised to call back police immediately if the male returned.
