CLEARFIELD – GantDaily, the Clearfield County Recreation and Tourism Authority and their partners are offering you the chance to show off your inner shutterbug in our first annual photo contest.
Holly Komonczi of the CCRTA said the photos should be of people having fun and experiencing the different things that Clearfield County has to offer.
“We’ll be using these photos in publications distributed around the world,” said Komonczi.
She also added that the contest gives folks the opportunity to directly get involved in promoting their hometowns and region. Komonczi said that photos of people doing things and having fun at festivals will help give a hometown feel.
She also noted that it is important for visitors to the county to submit their photos and take part in the contest as well.
“It’s their way to utilize the tourism office,” said Komonczi.
She said that the photo contest could help the CCRTA learn about different activities across the county.
“Maybe there’s a winter activity we don’t know about,” said Komonczi.
It’s often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Now is your opportunity to show and tell your stories through your pictures.
