E. Regena Heny, 98, of Osceola Mills died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016 at Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg.
Born June 9, 1918 in Decatur Township, she was the daughter of the late Agnes Kephart. She married Steven Heny, who preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1968.
She was a member of the Osceola Mills Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW No. 5020, Osceola Mills. She was a retired domestic worker.
In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven L. Heny.
She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Hummel and her husband, Russell of Wallaceton and Karen Croyle and her husband, Raymond of Osceola Mills; five grandchildren, Edward, Sharron, Holly, George, and Stephanie; eight great-grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Hazel Heny of Osceola Mills, who she considered her daughter.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Robert Bruinooge and the Rev. Dr. Mary Jo Bruinooge officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
