Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia have produced 12 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day since 2011, which accounts for 89 percent of the total growth in natural gas production in the U.S. The Marcellus region is now producing 17.0 BCF/day, which represents a quarter of the entire U.S. gas supply.
