State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of trespass by motor vehicle that occurred Saturday in a remote wooded/fielded area off of Blackburn Road in Bigler Township. During the incident, two Philipsburg men were allegedly caught trespassing in a white Dodge truck on the victim’s property by members of the Blackburn Hunting Club. State police say the men weren’t paying members of the hunting club and didn’t have permission to be there. Additionally, the property is visibly posted with “no trespassing” signs. Charges are currently pending through the district court upon further investigation.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime between Nov. 29 and Saturday at Morrisdale Auto Sales in Morris Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed inspection stickers from two used vehicles on the lot. The stickers have an estimated value of $25, according to state police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police reported a firearm/drug violation that occurred Friday at a private residence on Greenwood Road in Pike Township. According to the report, state parole agents requested assistance in checking the welfare of a 50-year-old male. Agents canvased the male’s residence and allegedly seized multiple contraband items, including a rifle, shotgun and marijuana. State police say the male wasn’t to be in possession of firearms, and he was taken to county jail. Charges were filed through the office of Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft/criminal mischief that occurred May 18 at the Curwensville Area School. During the incident, a Curwensville teen allegedly stole the victim’s cell phone, speaker and headphones from their school locker. The estimated value of the items is $350, state police say. Charges are currently pending through Clearfield County juvenile court.
- State police received a report about an incident of simple trespass/disorderly conduct that occurred Sunday on Red Schoolhouse Road in Decatur Township. During the incident, a Bellefonte man showed up to drop his daughter off at her mother’s residence. He allegedly went into the house without permission and was causing a disturbance without any legitimate purpose. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred Sunday on Pottersdale Road in Karthaus Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s property and removed several items, including a wedding ring and prescription drugs. State police at Philipsburg
- State police reported a DUI incident that occurred Saturday on Route 3040 at Reese Hollow Road in Worth Township. Troopers stopped a Port Matilda man for a minor traffic violation and allegedly found him to be under the influence. Charges are currently pending BAC results.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of terroristic threats that occurred Sunday at a Main Street residence in Burnside Borough. During the incident, suspect 1 allegedly punched suspect 2 in the face and then suspect 2 threatened to kill him and two other victims with a knife. Minor injuries were reported but no one requested medical treatment, state police say. Suspect 1 will be charged with harassment and Suspect 2 with terroristic threats and harassment through the district court.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Nov.25 on Lost Lane in Bell Township. During the incident, a male and female were allegedly involved in a verbal dispute that turned physical.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday at the White Horse bar in Weedville. During the incident, a Weedville man allegedly pulled the victim’s hair.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report of harassment where a known individual was allegedly committing the act through a third person.
- Police received a report about an alleged trespassing incident. The victim told police she had put her dog outside for a short time; then, someone had opened her door and let it back into the residence.
- Police located a male who had an active warrant through the department. He subsequently resolved the warrant.
- Police located a female on East Locust Street who was having mental health issues. She was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for treatment.
- Police responded to the Laundry Station for a male who was sleeping near the door.
- Police assisted a resident on Woodland Road with removing a bat from his residence.
- Police received a report about harassment by communication from a female who stated a male was texting and calling her. Police say she only wanted the male to stop, and this was related to him.
- Police responded to East Cherry Street for a report of an unruly female.
- Police located two females who were allegedly intoxicated and staggering on North Third Street. Upon making contact, police determined they were intoxicated, and they will be cited for the incident.
- Police responded to the State Farm office, located on East Locust Street, for vehicles illegally parking in the lot.
- Police responded to East Locust Street for a report about loud music.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a stolen bike from a Kerr Avenue residence. The owner was advised by police that it had been found along River Road and could be claimed at the station.
- Police received a report about a disorderly/intoxicated female at Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. She was taken into custody and put in county jail.
- Police received reports about two, separate alarms at a local business on Daisy Street Extension.
- Police received a report about a disorderly female at the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. She was put in county jail to await several charges.
- Police recovered a possible stolen four-wheeler in the area of Mann Road. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a psychological emergency on Highview Road.
- Police received a report about an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. It was eventually returned to the owner, police say.
- Police received a report about glass on the roadway at the Hyde light. Fire personnel were dispatched and removed the glass.
- Police receive a report about illegal burning in the area of Hollow Road. It will be forwarded to code enforcement, police say.
- Police conducted a warrant service in the area of 21st
- Police were dispatched to conduct a welfare check on a suspicious person on Village Road. Upon arrival police were unable to locate the male.
- Police conducted a warrant service with assistance from state police. The wanted male was put in county jail, police say.
- Police were dispatched to the area of Fullerton Street where a deer had been struck by a vehicle.
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle in the area of the Route 879 bypass.
- Police were dispatched to a deer-versus-vehicle accident on the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway.
