RUSH TOWNSHIP – Two people were flown to UPMC Altoona after a head-on crash Thursday night on U.S. Route 322 in Rush Township, reported state police at Philipsburg.
Mitchell Hubler, 46, of State College and Haisok Lee, 56, of Philipsburg sustained severe and moderate injuries, respectively, and they were flown for medical evaluation.
According to the report, Hubler was traveling east on Route 322 when his vehicle entered into the westbound lane and struck Lee’s vehicle head-on. Both Hubler and Lee had to be extricated from their vehicles.
State police were assisted at the scene by the Hope, Reliance, Morrisdale and Port Matilda fire companies.
