John P. Waslosky Jr., 49, of Frederick, Md., and formerly of Houtzdale, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at his home.
Born Nov. 24, 1966 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the Late John P. Waslosky Sr. and Barbara (Volk) Waslosky.
Mr. Waslosky was of the Christian faith. He was a pool restoration and repairman, a 1984 graduate of the Moshannon Valley High School and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 327 in Houtzdale.
He is survived by a step-daughter, Kristen Hunter of Frederick, Md.; a brother, Anthony M. Waslosky and his wife, Debra of Grampian; a niece, Kylie Dixon and her husband, Kyle of Houtzdale; a nephew, Jake Waslosky of Houtzdale; and his former wife, Julia Berndt of Columbia, Md.
The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, with Galen Baughman officiating.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
