Brian Michael McCann, 49, of Curwensville died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016 at his residence.
Born Oct. 7, 1967 in Greenville, he was the son of Regis F. and Doris (Diefendiefer) McCann.
Mr. McCann was currently working at Rescar in DuBois in the parts department and the office.
He previously had worked as a truck driver for Conway Freight in Woodland. He was Christian by faith.
He wed the former Ali Kay Lewis on Feb. 5, 2011, who survives, along with two children, Brandon M. McCann and his wife, Heather of Atlantic, Pa., and Jessica A. McCann and her significant other, Thomas Alabran of Greenville, Pa., and three step-children, Olivia P. Charles and her fiancé, Codey Blantz and Logen A. Charles, both of Mississippi, and Christopher A. Charles at home.
Also surviving are two grandchildren, Mason M. McCann and Colton I. Alabran; a brother and a sister, Bruce E. McCann and his wife, Darlene of Greenville, Pa., and Sherry A. Cooley and her husband, Spencer of Atlantic, Pa.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Brian McCann will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with Pastor Roger McGary officiating. Burial will be in the Bloomington Cemetery Curwensville.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and again from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
