State police at DuBois
- State police reported that Andrew Thomas James Pyne failed to register as required by Megan’s Law. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
- State police reported a DUI/drug possession incident that occurred Wednesday on U.S. Route 322 at its intersection with Oklahoma-Salem Road in Brady Township. While on patrol, state police stopped a 21-year-old Brockway man who was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance. He was taken into custody for DUI and also in possession of a controlled substance, state police said. Charges will be filed pending final blood test results.
State police at Ridgway
- State police reported a death that occurred Sunday on Main Street in Fox Township. Further, a 19-year-old Kersey woman was discovered deceased in her residence, and her death remains under investigation at this time, state police said.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to the riverwalk area along West Market Street, where kids were on scooters and skateboards. Upon arrival to the scene, police located them but did not observe any damage to the walkway area. It was noted that police advised the kids of the complaint.
- Police responded to South Fifth Street for a report about a male who was shining a red laser pointer in the direction of another male.
- Police responded to Bigler Road for a suspicious person complaint. Upon arrival to the scene, police found a female who was attempting to sell windows to residents. She was advised to obtain the proper documents at the Clearfield Borough administration office.
- Police reported that a cell phone was stolen along South Third Street. The incident remains under investigation at this time, police said.
- Police responded to Turnpike Avenue for an incident of harassment. Further, police were able to handle the situation at the scene.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct that occurred at a school.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft that occurred on Leonard Street.
- Police received a report about an alleged burglary that occurred on Weaver Street Extension.
- Police responded to a residential alarm.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 879 and River Road. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and no injuries were reported as a result, police said.
