CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotions of Rebecca Coleman to assistant vice president of operations, and Sherry Wallace to mortgage officer.
“The corporation has undergone tremendous growth in the past several years, and Becky and Sherry have stepped up to ensure their departments meet the increasing challenges and responsibilities associate with this growth,” said Bower. “Their leadership and positive, can-do attitudes have led to these much deserved promotions.”
As assistant vice president of operations, Coleman supervises the loan document preparation department, and she assists with supervision of the loan operations department.
Her responsibilities include maintaining the loan portion of the processing system, implementing new loan products, maintaining the loan document preparation system, writing loan reports and assisting with loan-related audits.
Coleman joined CNB Bank in 2009 and holds 22 years of banking experience. Over those years, she has served as loan operations assistant, loan document preparer, and operations officer.
A native of Clearfield, Coleman is a 1993 graduate of Clearfield Area High School. Since beginning her banking career, she has earned four diplomas from the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association/Professional Development Network (PBA/PDN), which include the general banking, personal banking, consumer lending and bank operations as well as the supervisory certificate. She has also been chosen to participate in CNB’s Leadership Institute.
Coleman currently resides in Clearfield with her husband, Brandon, and their two daughters, Maci and Lauren and she attends the Hyde Wesleyan Church.
As mortgage officer, Wallace supervises mortgage underwriting, and she assists with the supervision of the mortgage department at the main office in downtown Clearfield.
She applies her expertise by training bank lenders on current regulations, reviewing and processing mortgage loan requests and underwriting loans for 43 branch offices of CNB Bank, ERIEBANK and FCBank.
Wallace joined CNB Bank in 1995 as a teller and has since held positions of head teller, customer service center supervisor, deposit operations/card services administrator, loan operations/escrow clerk, mortgage document preparer and underwriter.
She has also earned seven diplomas from the Pennsylvania Banker’s Association/Professional Development Network (PBA/PDN), which include residential mortgage lending, general banking, personal banking, consumer lending, bank operations, banking & finance and retail branch management.
Wallace currently resides in Clearfield with her husband, Toby. They have two children, Tyler and Janelle. She is a member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church and volunteers her time and talents to the community through various projects, including the Clearfield Revitalization Corp.’s annual beautification day, as well as fundraisers for Orphans of the Storm.
