Mary Margaret Smith, 66, of Drifting died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital.
Born May 7, 1950 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Violet Hendershot Carter.
She married Terry R. Smith, who preceded her in death June 12, 1999.
Surviving are a daughter, Wanda Smith of Philipsburg; a son, Terry L. Smith and his wife, Kari of Munson; and a step-daughter, Barbara Smith of Philipsburg.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Cody Golding, Jared Smith, Whitney Smith, Madison Smith and Dustin Smith.
She was the last of her generation. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Dixon.
Mrs. Smith was a member of Bigler Full Gospel Tabernacle, Bigler.
She was a  1970 graduate of West Branch High School. She was a Home Health aide and retired from Comfort Keepers this year. She was a mother to everyone who knew her.
Family and friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Thursday at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Strange & Weaver Funeral Service with the Rev. Pastor Darl Ware officiating. Burial will be in Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.
