Betty J. Hershberger, 79, of DuBois died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at her home.
Born Feb. 25, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha (Dixon) Radcliffe Warnick.
On Jan. 4, 1955, she married Harold B. Hershberger. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2007.
She was the owner/operator of H&B Ceramics in DuBois. At one time, she and her husband were part owners in H&H Pizza.
Mrs. Hershberger also worked as a waitress and babysitter in the DuBois area for many years. She was also the founder of Pitch Pipers Chorus.
She is survived by two sons, Perry D. Hershberger and Kent A. Hershberger, both of DuBois; three grandchildren, Andrew Hershberger and his girlfriend, Jamie Powers, Troy Hershberger and Peytion D. Frantz; and one great-granddaughter, Cecelia Grace Hershberger.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Donald Warnick.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Myers officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
