Sandy Maney, 57, of Karthaus died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016 at her residence.
Born Oct. 18, 1958 in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of the late Dale Shields and her surviving mother, Colleen Rhinehart Shields, Pine Creek, Pa.
On Oct. 23, 1976 in Lock Haven, she married N. Dale Maney Jr., who survives at home.
Surviving are her two sons, Matthew D. Maney and his fiancée, Jennifer Hansel of Philipsburg and Dennis A. Maney and his wife, Rachel of Milesburg.
Also surviving are her sisters, Deborah Sedziol and her husband, John of Cincinnati, Ohio and Nancy Moyer and her husband, Jake of Clendenin, W.Va.; a brother, Harry Shields and his wife, Janet of Jersey Shore; and her grandchildren, Connor Maney and Kahlan Maney of Milesburg.
She was a member of the Karthaus Community Alliance Church, Karthaus, and she was Karthaus Postmaster for 20 years.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, with Pastor Daniel Beeman officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Memorial Cemetery, Karthaus.
Family and friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday at the Karthaus Community Alliance Church, Karthaus.
