DUBOIS – DuBois Public Library will host a program on the life cycle and migration of the monarch butterfly.
The program is sponsored by Friends of the Library and the speaker will be Keely Roen, instructor in wildlife technology at Penn State University.
There will be examples of various stages of the butterfly’s life cycle, including an adult butterfly, caterpillars and eggs.
The Down to Earth Garden Club will have information available on how to attract the monarch and other butterflies to your garden. You can learn what plants will entice these beautiful flying flowers to visit your yard.
The program will be held on Sept. 13 from 6 p.m. -7:30 p.m. in the program room on the ground floor of the DuBois Public Library, 31 S Brady St., DuBois, PA.
